River and Rumor's Story

Rumor and his brother River were rescued as babies in October of 2019 and are now big, beautiful turkeys. They can be found strutting their stuff at the sanctuary and showing off their gorgeous feathers to all that will watch.

In 2025, River crossed over the rainbow bridge. Luckily his brother still has a large audience eager to watch him parade around.
